In the Studio: Pencil to paper

[In the Studio, March 19, 2011 /Image & Artwork: designslinger_studio]

Last week I mentioned that I finally got this process underway by sitting down and drawing.
And the more I drew, a clear style started to emerge, often in drawings done weeks apart.

Every time I finished, I hung the sketch on the wall and moved on to the next image. After seeing several dozen all lined up, there were some that I liked better than others, so I took some down, rearranged the ones I liked for inspiration, and kept at it.

The focus has been on architecture because I love buildings. But I the more I draw

the more interested I'm becoming in trying to create pictures of people and things in the same style I've found in drawing architectural pictures. They're coming along -  just not quite there yet.
