In the Studio: Pencil to paper

[In the Studio, March 19, 2011 /Image & Artwork: designslinger_studio]
Last week I mentioned that I finally got this process underway by sitting down and drawing. And the more I drew, a clear style started to emerge, often in drawings done weeks apart.
Every time I finished, I hung the sketch on the wall and moved on to the next image. After seeing several dozen all lined up, there were some that I liked better than others, so I took some down, rearranged the ones I liked for inspiration, and kept at it.
The focus has been on architecture because I love buildings. But I the more I draw
the more interested I'm becoming in trying to create pictures of people and things in the same style I've found in drawing architectural pictures. They're coming along - just not quite there yet.

Can't wait to see more.

Yikes! Another late night or early morning for you.
Unfolding. Something had to come out of all these observations and of all the picture taking and interesting classification and description.
Good luck.
Thanks!!
LOVE seeing the process!
Glad you're enjoying it! There's more to come.
