Nightfall
Yesterday it was all bright and shiny, today it's all about darkness and night.
As the days get shorter - sunlight wise - and the nights are longer, picture taking
will happen, more often than not, in the dark with man-made illumination as your only light source.
I like snapping pics without a flash at night because of the surprisingly, ethereal quality
you can get in a photo. Plus a little giggle of the camera can produce some interesting results as well.
Of course you couldn't ask for a better subject than Notre Dame when creating a rather
ephemeral image.
And, if you're heading to Paris any time soon, or live there, this article from the NY Times
is a must read:
Liberty, Equality, Gastronomy: Paris via a 19th-Century Guide
Bon appétit!

Every time I see Notre Dame I think of the first polyphonic music that was played there. Perfection!
