We were so busy in Chicago that we didn't have any time to do much reading. Now that
we're home, here are a few links to a few postings we thought you'd find interesting.

We missed the opening of the new Modern Wing at the Chicago Art Institute. But, check

out this link for a wonderful tour by Edward Lifson. [Hello Beautiful]

You can read what some of the critics have to say about Renzo Piano's addition to the

venerable Institute. [Cityscapes]

And the Brits have something to say about a small Mies structure scheduled for demolition

on the IIT campus. [Guardian]

Too many paintings, too much production, too much like Warhol, doesn't seem to be very

good for business for some contemporary artists. [New York Magazine]

A sneak preview of Rob Marshall's new film Nine. It gives good visuals, if nothing else.
[Culture Monster]

And finally, many thanks do our blogging friend Sharon at Chicago History Journal for all

the support she has given to designslinger...we're looking forward to that glass of wine in Chicago!
