Design Within ReachDWR is a source for fully licensed classics. A "fully licensed classic" is manufactured by the company holding the license to the original design. They carry authorized classics from license holders Herman Miller, Knoll, Cassina, Fritz Hansen, Stua, Vitra, Kartell, Emeco, Artek, Objekto, Flos and Cherner Chair Company. They sell all four of the chairs featured in today's postings: the Eames', Molded Plywood Lounge Chair LCW and their Leather Upholstered Lounge Chair; Mies van der Rohe's, Barcelona Chair; and Marcel Breuer's, Wassily Chair.

Palazzetti
Their museum quality modern classics, were introduced in 1981 are manufactured in Italy with the original specifications and the best quality materials and workmanship. They carry the Barcelona and Wassily Chairs.

Herman Miller
Charles and Ray Eames designed furniture for Herman Miller which the company produces to this day. You can go directly to their website to shop online or visit one of the retail outlets licensed to sell the Miller line. Even if you don't plan on making a purchase, a visit to the website is a great way to become familiar with, and educate yourself, about some of the classics of modern furniture.

Knoll
Founded in 1938, their products are exhibited in major art museums, with more than 40 pieces in the permanent Design Collection of The Museum of Modern Art in New York. They manufacture the other two chairs posted today, Mies van der Rohe's, Barcelona Chair, and Marcel Breuer's, Wassily Chair.
